Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today announced the inauguration of its new branch located at Al Barsha Mall, in Dubai, with the objective of extending its retail banking services to the resident community in the area.

Jamal Bin Ghalaita, Chief Executive Officer, Emirates Islamic, officially inaugurated the new branch in the presence of Majid Hamad Rahmah Al Shamsi, Chairman of Union Coop, Khalid Majid Khalfan Bin Thenaiyeh, Barsha Mall Manager, in addition to Faisal Aqil, Deputy CEO - Consumer Wealth Management, senior members of the management and other bank officials.

The inauguration of the Al Barsha Mall branch is in line with Emirates Islamic's nation-wide expansion plans through 2014 and beyond. It is the first branch to be added to Emirates Islamic's physical network following the bank's successful re-branding exercise in 2013. The inauguration of this branch brings the total number of Emirates Islamic branches in the UAE to 52, with 30 being located in Dubai alone.

To celebrate the new branch opening, Emirates Islamic customers who visit the branch and apply for a product can benefit from a wide range of exclusive offers, with customers opening an account until end of May are entitled to receive a complimentary Pre-Paid Card. In addition, customers will receive bonus points or miles when they apply for a credit card and a special rate on new finance products.

Open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM Saturday to Thursday, Emirates Islamic's new branch is located near Gate No. 1 on the ground floor of Al Barsha Mall.
