May 15, 2014

Emirates Islamic, one of the leading Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, today announced the launch of a campaign which offers Indian and Pakistani expatriates in the UAE 30 days free Accidental Life Takaful cover when transferring amounts in INR and PKR back to their respective home countries, along with zero transfer fees when the transaction is done at the branch.

With RemitProtect, Indian and Pakistani expatriates will be covered against accidental death for INR 500,000 or PKR 500,000, respectively, for 30 days from the date of remittance, regardless of the transferred amount or number of transfers made. Each remittance transaction will get a cover of INR or PKR 500,000, therefore a customer can be covered in multiples according to the number of transactions made. The cover is provided by Takaful Emarat, one of the leading Takaful providers in the region.
