Get started, by simply following the below steps:

  • Ensure that the device software is updated to the latest Android software (Settings > About device > Software info > Android version)
  • Add the Samsung Account, provided at the time of registration onto the device (Settings > Accounts > Add Samsung Account)
  • Click on Samsung Pay icon, download and install the Samsung Pay app
  • Log into your Samsung Account from the Samsung Pay app to set your PIN and fingerprint
  • Tap on 'Add Credit or Debit Card'. You can scan or manually enter your Emirates Islamic VISA Card details
  • Verify your Emirates Islamic Visa Card by entering OTP sent across to you either through SMS or email.

Get AED 100 when you apply and get an Emirates Islamic Card through the Samsung Pay app and perform three transactions with Samsung Pay within the first month of your card issuance date.

Which Emirates Islamic Cards work with Samsung Pay?

All Visa Credit, Debit, Prepaid Cards issued by Emirates Islamic Bank are eligible to be used on Samsung Pay.

How many cards can be added to Samsung Pay?

Up to ten unique cards can be added to a device. Besides payment cards, loyalty cards can also be added to the wallet to a max count of thirty.

How does Samsung Pay work?

Launch the Samsung Pay app on your Samsung device and add your Emirates Islamic Visa Card by scanning or by manually entering the details and authenticating with your fingerprint or 4-digit pin. Start making secure contactless transactions with your Samsung device.

I have been prompted for a one time passcode to enroll Card on Samsung Pay. What is this and why is this required?

For security purposes, a one-time passcode is required to be entered in order to confirm your identity. This code is a unique series of numbers and/or letters which will be sent via email or text. If prompted, you must select how you wish to receive the one-time passcode and then enter it into the appropriate field.

Where can I use Samsung Pay?

Samsung Pay is accepted virtually everywhere a physical card can be swiped. It is accepted at MST and NFC technology terminals.

Are there any additional cost associated with Samsung Pay?

No, you are not charged for using Samsung Pay.

Why doesn't the card art in Wallet match its physical plastic card?

Card art will not always match and is dependent on the network. The last four digits on the card art in Wallet will always match the last four digits of the plastic card.

What should I do if I lose my Samsung device?

If your Samsung device is either lost or stolen, you can go to Samsung's website using Fin My Mobile service. This will happen even if a device is offline and not connected to a mobile or Wi-Fi network.
Alternatively, you can call us on 600599995 to suspend or delete a card from Samsung Pay.

If I receive a replacement Card do I need to update my details with Samsung Pay on my existing device?

If you have lost your physical card and then receive a replacement card, you will need to remove the original card record from Samsung Pay and register your new card again.

How do I get a refund for something I purchased with Samsung Pay?

If you wish to return a purchase made with Samsung Pay, you will have to bring along your physical Emirates Islamic Card along with the Samsung device and request the merchant to issue the refund back on your Card. You can hold the device near the payment terminal and authorize with touch ID or passcode.

What if the Card is up for renewals?

If you had previously registered your credit card on Samsung Pay, and the card is due for renewal, the replacement credit card will automatically be registered back to Samsung Pay when you activate your renewal credit card.
For debit cards you will have to re-enter the card details to enroll it for Samsung Pay.

What happens when I reset my device?

When performing a reset, all payment information in Samsung Pay will be deleted. You will need to set up and add the card information into Samsung Pay again after the device has been reset.

What happens when I update or replace my device?

If you replace your device, you will need to add the card(s) again to Wallet. You must ensure to remove your card(s) from any device before selling, exchanging, or disposing them. You should also remove your card if you are temporarily sharing your device with someone else; for example if your phone is to be repaired.
