Accelerated miles earning on flydubai spends will be applicable from 01st August 2020.
Maximum eligible spends: In any given month, a Card member shall only be entitled to earn Skywards Miles for transactions carried out up to the extent of the assigned Credit Limit on the Card. Transactions exceeding the assigned Credit Limit shall not be entitled to earn Skywards Miles during that month.
Skywards Infinite & Signature cards: Retail domestic spends made at the below categories as defined by Visa will have different earning rates.
Skywards Platinum cards: Effective July 01, 2019, retail domestic spends made under category "Grocery / Supermarkets" will earn 25% of the Base Miles, retail domestic spends made under category "Insurance" , "Car dealership and Auto related" will earn 15% of the Base Miles & retail domestic spends under category "Government Services" ,"Bill Payments (including utility bills)", "Education", "Fuel/Petroleum", "Real Estate" and "Telecommunication Payment" will earn 10% of the Base Miles.
Effective February 01 2020, retail domestic spends made under category "Quick Service Restaurants (fast food restaurants)" will earn 25% of the Base Miles.
Effective February 01 2020, retail international spends originating in “European Economic Area (EEA) countries” will earn 25% of the International Miles.
Effective August 01 2020, retail domestic spends will earn 0.5 Skywards Miles per USD 1 retail spend.
Skywards Gold cards: Effective July 01, 2019, Skywards Gold cards do not earn Skywards Miles on "Government Services", "Grocery / Supermarkets", "Insurance" , "Car dealership and Auto related", "Bill Payments (including utility bills)", "Education", "Fuel/Petroleum", "Real Estate" and "Telecommunication " payments.
Effective February 01, 2019, Skywards Gold cards do not earn Skywards Miles on "Quick Service Restaurants (fast food restaurants)" payments.
Effective February 01 2020, retail international spends originating in “European Economic Area (EEA) countries” will earn 25% of the International Miles.
International spends: International spends are transactions made internationally in foreign currency or non AED currency. All international transactions made under the categories Government services (including utility and mobile bills), Grocery and Supermarkets, Education ,Insurance, Real Estate, Fuel/Petroleum, Telecommunication payments and Car dealership and Auto related will earn Skywards Miles as per normal International retail spend rates as shown in the above table.
