Once your request has been accepted, you’ll receive your cheque book within 3 to 5 working days

If you need a new Emirates Islamic Cheque Book, place a request online and it will be couriered to you within 3 to 5 working days

Delivery of Your Cheque Book

If your request for a new cheque book has been accepted, you should receive it within 3 to 5 working days.

Our courier service will only deliver your cheque book to you personally, not to anyone else. We don’t deliver internationally.

 

Delivery details:

  • Emirates Islamic partners with JMBR and Aramex courier services for the delivery of cheque books
  • JMBR Couriers will deliver cheque books for all customer segments except VIP and Private Banking customers
  • The courier service will contact you via your registered mobile number to schedule delivery.

The courier service will return your cheque book to Emirates Islamic after 39 days. You’ll then need to request a new cheque book.

All Emirates Islamic cheques have a QR code and an MICR code line to prevent cheques from being duplicated by fraudsters. If you don’t specify a beneficiary on the cheque or make a cheque payable to ‘cash or bearer’, there is always a risk that someone will get hold of the cheque and cash it.
If you suspect that a cheque has been lost or stolen, you must first file a police report for the lost or stolen cheque and then visit one of our branches with the police report to place a stop payment for any cheques that have not yet presented. Additional documents may be required at the Bank's sole discretion.
Once you open your current account, you’ll receive your first cheque book free of charge. After that, the charges depend on your banking package with us.
If the Bank has sent you a cheque book without you requesting it, just keep it or destroy it if you don’t have any use for it. You will not be charged for it.
