Cash back on all domestic and international transactions includes non-government spends only.
Your cash back rewards are calculated each month based on your monthly spend and have a validity of two years.
Cash back on Telecommunication spends (Du and Etisalat only) is capped at AED 100. Spends at Du and Etisalat stores, website or through Emirates Islamic channels are eligible.
Cash back on Electronics spends is capped at AED 100. Spends classified as electronics by Visa and MasterCard are eligible.
Emirates Islamic is not responsible if a transaction does not get captured under the appropriate merchant category.
Cashback points
Cashback points will be given as a statement credit in AED.
Effective July 01, 2019, retail spends made under category "Grocery / Supermarkets" will earn 25% of Base Cashback Point, Automobiles & Insurance will earn 15% of Base Cashback Point, Education, Fuel and Real Estate will earn 10% of Base Cashback Point. The Base Cashback Point is defined as 1%.
Effective July 01, 2019, to redeem your cashback points you must have a minimum of 300 cash back points.
In any given month, a Card member shall only be entitled to earn Cashback points for transactions carried out up to the extent of the assigned Credit Limit on the Card. Transactions exceeding the assigned Credit Limit shall not be entitled to earn Cashback Points during that month.
Effective February 01 2020, retail spends made under category "Quick Service Restaurants (fast food restaurants)" will earn 25% of the Base Cashback points.
Effective February 01 2020, retail international spends originating in “European Economic Area (EEA) countries which includes the United Kingdom as per VISA and MasterCard” will earn 25% of the Base Cashback Points.
